PoolPass · Early access

Hours of assigned-risk typing, gone.

PoolPass takes what you already have, your comparative rater, the CLUE and MVR, and the assigned-risk rate, and fills the New York assigned-risk (NYAIP) application. It cross-checks every figure against your quote, then stops for a licensed person. The meticulous typing and double-checking, off your plate.

PoolPass is being tested on real work with our first agency. We are onboarding a small number of early users.

PoolPass fills the NYAIP application and flags a rate discrepancy for review.
Is this you?
  • You write New York personal auto
  • You send the hard-to-place risks to the assigned-risk pool
  • You are tired of re-typing every NYAIP application by hand

If that is your desk, PoolPass was built for it.

What it does

It does the desk work, carefully.

A single assigned-risk application can take 5 to 15 minutes of careful entry, after you have already entered the client elsewhere, and one missed detail can cost you. PoolPass does that entry and checks its own work as it goes.

Fills it from what you already have

You already ran the client through your comparative rater. PoolPass pulls that, plus the CLUE, MVR, and the assigned-risk rate, and fills the NYAIP application, every meticulous field, so no one re-keys it by hand.

Catches mistakes before they cost you

It cross-checks the rate the application returns against your own quote and flags anything that does not line up, so a wrong number or a missed detail gets caught before you rely on it.

Makes sense of CLUE and MVR

It helps you read and apply CLUE and MVR details correctly, so driving history is assessed the right way and nothing slips through.

Stops for a licensed human

When the work is done it stops at the rate summary and hands the decision to a licensed person. Fewer errors, a human on every call, and you stay in control and compliant.

A licensed human stays in charge

The line it will not cross is the feature.

PoolPass is built to stop. It prepares the work and checks it, then hands a clean summary to a licensed person who reviews it and decides. That boundary is what keeps you in control, and it is exactly why the software is safe to use.

The value is the same as the safeguard. You get the speed of automation on the busywork and a licensed human on every decision. Nothing happens to a policy unless a person makes it happen.

PoolPass does

  • Pre-fill the application from your inputs
  • Cross-check the rate against your quote
  • Flag mismatches and anything that looks off
  • Stop at the rate summary for review

PoolPass never

  • Submit or file the application
  • Pay or take payment
  • Bind or issue coverage
  • Certify or sign anything
  • Order MVR, CLUE, or other reports
  • Make a single decision for you
How the cross-check works

Two numbers, one honest comparison.

PoolPass does not just fill a form and trust it. It checks the result against what you expected and tells you when they do not agree.

  1. 1

    You bring the inputs

Your quote and the applicant details you already have. PoolPass reads from what you give it. No fishing for extra data.

  2. 2

    It fills and computes

PoolPass pre-fills the assigned-risk application and lets it produce a rate, the same path your team would take by hand.

  3. 3

    It compares and flags

The returned rate is checked against your quote. A match is confirmed. A difference is flagged with what drove it, so you can look before you trust it.

  4. 4

    You decide

PoolPass stops at the summary. A licensed person reviews it and makes the call. The software does not take the next step for you.

The catch that matters

When the numbers don’t agree, it stops you.

If the assigned-risk rate comes back higher than your quote, PoolPass flags the difference so a licensed person looks before anyone relies on it. The catch happens before it costs you.

A clean match is confirmed and moves on. A mismatch is held up, in plain sight, for a licensed human to review.

Light on data

PoolPass works with the inputs the task needs and no more. It is built to avoid hoarding sensitive consumer data.

Runs on Windows

It runs as Windows software in your environment, fitting the way assigned-risk work already happens at the desk.

Software, not insurance

BookBuilt is a technology vendor. PoolPass is a tool your licensed team uses. It does not act as an agent.

Founding Partner Program

Get in early. Help shape it.

We are taking on a small number of New York assigned-risk agencies as founding partners. You get PoolPass early, set up on your own files, and a real say in where it goes.

PoolPass is still being proven on real work. Founding partners are the agencies we build it with, before we open it up more widely.

Straight answers

The questions agencies actually ask.

Are you an insurance agency?

No. BookBuilt is a software company. PoolPass is a tool your licensed team uses at the desk. We never sell, quote, bind, or service insurance.

Who actually makes the decision?

A licensed person on your team. PoolPass prepares and checks the work, then stops at a summary. It never submits, files, binds, signs, pays, or orders reports. Every call is yours.

Is this just ChatGPT with a new name?

No. PoolPass is purpose-built software, not a chatbot. It reads what you already have, your comparative rater, the CLUE and MVR, and the assigned-risk rate, fills the NYAIP application field by field, and cross-checks the rate. It does not improvise or invent anything.

Will it add to my E&O exposure?

It is built to reduce errors, not add them. It catches mismatches before anyone relies on them, and a licensed person reviews every result. Because nothing is submitted or bound automatically, the decision and the responsibility stay with your team.

Where does it run, and is my data safe?

It runs as Windows software in your own environment. It works only with the inputs the task needs and is built to avoid hoarding sensitive consumer data.

Is it approved or endorsed by AIPSO or the NYAIP?

No. PoolPass is desk software your licensed staff operate. It does not interact with the plan on its own and is not affiliated with or endorsed by AIPSO or the NYAIP.
